About Slo Club
Slo Club were formed in Palm Beach, Florida in 2006 by singer/guitarist Jim Stark (who was known then as James Veda), guitarist/keyboardist Alan Walter, bassist Jason Vargo and drummer Jeffrey Willhite. Evan Vander later joined the group in 2007, and helped out on live samples and backing vocals. Mid-ways through creating these home recordings of their first group of songs, the band was cut down when bassist and founding member Jason Vargo passed away in early 2008.
