There are at least three artists sharing the name Slider: 1) a rock band from California, 2) a rock band from Nashville, TN, and 3) a solo musician from Israel. 1) Slider is a rock band from Northern California consisting of two-time Grammy winner Matt Winegar and drummer Josh Freese (known for working with Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Weezer, Sting, the Offspring, Devo, Guns N' Roses, A Perfect Circle, and 100 gecs among others). Slider released the album _Sudden Fun_ on A&M Records in 1995. The album was originally titled _Fremont_.
