About Slekta
(1) Slekta is an electronica-oriented duo based on musical collaboration between André (Vintersol) and Kim (A4). Like too many projects, the "Slekta" term (being equivalent to "The Kin" or "The Genus") was originally used as a label for André's parodies of the rapidly growing nu-skool techno scene in Scandinavia. It is also a well-fit discription for the band-incest phenomenon. Being a good chap, Kim later joined André to make some noisy themes full of apathy, obscurity and big rooms, based on simple note rows.
