Slacks was created as a side-project for me [Mick] and Randy's noisecore/metal band, SUPERHIGHWAY CARFIRE, in the mid 90s. Slacks! , our first CD, was released by Translation Loss/Infernal Racket Records in 2003 to, what actually seemed like, critical acclaim. It was recorded by Randy and I at Super 8 Studios. Our original drummer, Dan Ballinger, left the band and was replaced by Mike Prout, of the band QUIPS. Our old friend/collaborator, Christian, signed on as our full-time singer.
