About Skumenheim
The idea of a band turned out as a project called Skumenheim that combines elements from mostly Folk Metal and Black Metal with a hint of epicness in it. At the moment project is frozen and there is no idea about future plans. The name ‘Skumenheim’ comes from the ancient northern myhtology. ‘Skumenheim’ translates as ‘Pimentola’ reffering to ‘Tuonela’, the realm of the dead or the underworld in Finnish mythology, but also as ‘Pohjola’ (Northland), the northern kingdom in Finnish mythology.
