In early March the band White Frost was created. The sound was inspired by bands like Finntroll and underground black metal as well as folk metal bands such as Ensiferum, and Turisas. When their first track was created it was dubbed Beyond the Veil of Midgard. The song underwent many evolutions and the band finally changed its name to Skogs Hallen which translates from Swedish into The Forest Hall. this name was inspired by a dream about a hall made from the very forest itself.
