About Skogen Kallar
Skogen Kallar is a band from Gothenburg, Sweden, that plays psychedelic rock influenced by Swedish folk music. The seed that later grew into Skogen Kallar was planted in the fall of 2018, as saxophonist Erik Larsson was preparing his final concert at the Academy of Music and Drama. His ambition to merge the typical Swedish sense of "vemod", or melancholy, with hypnotizing riffs and heavy basslines led him to recrult a group of musicians with backgrounds in jazz and rock as well as Swedish folk music drummer Erik Wiskari
