Sketchnote hails from Rockland County, New York...Igor and Travis from New City, Cory from Spring Valley, and Sam from Suffern. The story began in mid-2008 at a county high school jazz festival at Ramapo High School, where Cory met the, at the time, intoxicated guitarist Sam and convinced him to come jam with his band, Sketchnote. Sam was skeptical about joining a collective that was somewhat based in hip-hop, but after a few weeks in Travis' garage
