About Skatchou Bottos
The ska-band Skatchou Bottos was born in 2004 in Ghent. During a school excursion in the Ardens, a bunch of students at the faculty of Bio-engineer sciences came up with plans to start a band. The first six pairs of ‘Bottos’ were put on by Hans (alt sax), Bos (keys), Bert (bass), Rik (guitar), Frederic (voices) and Bastiaan (drums), who started practicing and working out songs every wednesday after school. Soon, trumpet player Koen and tenor sax Wannes joined the band and the first own songs were finished.
