About Skafyah
Raised in Brooklyn NY, both Motty (Vocals) and Ari (Keyboards) were exposed and directly influenced by the Reggae Vibes pulsating on the streets of Crown Heights. As such, we are striving to meld our Street background with our Jewish music influences. The result of this fusion is the unique sound of Skafyah: We are Blessed as well to be joined by the G-mon on Saxophone from di Bronx and Sahar on Drums from di Holy Land Influences: Shabba Ranks, Damian Marley, Piamenta, Esta, Issac Bitton, Super Cat, Cocoa Tea and many more.
