Sixty Watt Bayonets are a female-fronted garage-punk band comprising Penny, Will, Mike and Billy who met at Reading University. Less than two years old, their sound is reminiscent of Siouxsie and the Banshees and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The band released their debut 7 track EP Pounding Hearts, Fighting Words in July 2009 and received good reviews from Rock Sound and Kerrang!.
