Duluth nu-grunge band Sirus Minor was formed by Dan Lindquist and Andy Zelman who woke up one day and realized that they each had a gift. Dan found that he could bang on things and create a rhythm for Andy to play his homemade guitar along with. Later, in middle school they each bought their own instruments and formed the instrumental group ‘Institutionalized’. With classic hits like ‘Index 66’ and ‘The Desert’ they were a force to be reckoned with.
