Sinister Vacancy from Berlin (Germany) were active around the year 1994. The band existed around 2 years and consisted of Till, Matthias, Sascha and Andreas. They developed in that time many songs that move between Alternative, Dark Wave and Pop. 8 of them are on this album, which was recorded as in-house production in Till's studio. Sinister Vacancy then played some small gigs in Berlin. After separation of the band the members were active in other bands, some still active today. Sascha and Andreas are now Die Schatten.
