Sing Slavic is a group for women, trans, and NBs who love sharing the magic of Slavic folk songs with their greater Philadelphia Community. This West Philly-based ensemble draws inspiration from Eastern European customs to exhibit songs from countries like Ukraine, Bulgaria, Poland, and Russia. Sing Slavic began in 2011 as the Philadelphia Women’s Slavic Ensemble as a small group of friends sharing their love of Slavic folk music. In 2021, they became Sing Slavic, better reflecting their current members.
