About Simian Artillery
Simian Artillery are a ska/punk band from Deal, UK and we're formed in 2007 by drummer Joe Russel and saxophonist/vocalist Benji Powling. It was a slow start as band members were gathered and rehearsals started, and the band bagan on local gigs.. This has continued with the band beginning to become more well known and respected in the local scene for their energetic live shows after the release of the their first studio recordings on the EP "Keith". The name for this release came from the band deciding that not enough EPs had human names.
