Silver Creek Mountain Band was formed in East London, South Africa, in the early 70’s. They turned professional in 1975 and released their first album, 'Look what they've done to Silver Creek' in 1981. Over the years the band has entertained thousands in pubs and clubs, parties, weddings, rallies, theaters and self-run venues. The band has hosted many excellent musicians, each playing a valuable part in keeping Silver Creek’s music alive. The music is performed “acoustically”, obviously amplified, with as few additives as possible.
