About Shy Mirrors
Shy Mirrors is the new musical outlet of Mike Downey, formerly of Wolfie, The National Splits, and Mathlete - and friends. Downey started the band in Stockholm in 2009. Shy Mirrors record lovesick, power-chord laden garage rock à la Superchunk. They have released one EP, on Thinking About The Needle, and one full-length LP, out now on Big School Records.
