Shower of Smegma or S.O.S. as they called it – a name that conjures imagery of vast and powerful grossness. They were 14 year olds from the LA / Hollywood area and played the club circuit in the early 80’s. They played with bands such as D.R.I., Dr. Know, Entropy, Excel, and Stukas Over Bedrock. They played speed punk and crossed over that punk into faster versions of Sabbath songs. None of them were old enough to drive, so their parents would drive them to the gigs.
