About Shove
Note: There seems to be more than one band with this name. Shove's brand of loud, guitar-driven noise pop debut on a split-CD EP with Torpedo in 1998. Released on their own Omnibus Records, critical comparisons toward the Breeders and Veruca Salt resulted as this Sacramento trio followed with another split that same year with Speed King. Shove's first full-length "Soundtrack for Disaster" came out in 1999 before a tour of the United States ensued in support of it. -All Music Guide
