About Shortwave Dahlia
A trio hailing from Memphis, Tennessee who meld pop sensibility with sampling and electronics. Think The Cure sharing a taxicab with The Chemical Brothers...or maybe a volatile mixture of Cocteau Twins and New Order... ...or maybe none of these. Jack Alberson (voice, synths, programs, and occasional guitar) founded the group as a solo venture in 2004.
