Shmolts Biography - Shmolts (pronounced Schmaltz) is the brain child of Jay Serrao and is a band that doesn't exist in the physical sense of the word! Apart from Jay as the founding member, Shmolts is an online avatar of revolving musicians for the time being. Shmolts is a personal project, but it can also be a collaboration with other songwriters as well. Jay's main aim for Shmolts is to create tunes influenced by the melody and lyrics of The Beatles and Bob Dylan
