Shizumaru is a Malaysian solo artist who takes a lot of his musical inspiration from various death metal, thrash metal, industrial metal bands, movies and video games. His music can be described as an intense hybrid of headbang-able metal riffs with synths, ambient and dramatic effects. Born in 1977, grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix and Blondie, and then later to Nirvana, Deftones, Static-X and Pitchshifter. Hooked to much more aggressive bands
