About Shining TV Screen
Shining TV Screen is a Philadelphia-based quintet creating an eclectic collection of thematic alternative indie-psych rock music for the sonic stimulation of all whose ears are near. Occupying a sound spectrum comparable to that of The Walkmen and The Strokes, Shining TV Screen sounds as if a spaceship were descending upon a drive-in theater showcasing a high-speed chase scene under a meteor show. Formed in early 2007, the band quickly climbed atop the local college music scene and have been noted as both “local favorites” [Milkboycoffee.
