About Shilan Anderson
It all began with the recorder in primary school. Later Shilan moved on to playing the guitar to accompany her singing and to be able to write her own songs. She began to sing in bands during her school years. The first studio-recording took place in 2000 in Namibia, where Shilan sang the backing vocals on Arcana XXII’s album Barren Land. Back in Germany she became singer of the band Neardown and can be heard on their first album. After that she left the band and focused on learning new instruments and writing her own music.
