About Sherten
Sherten (full name: Sherab Tenzin) is a Tibetan singer, composer, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, music producer and actor. Sherten was born on March 8, 1981 in the grassland of Golok, a part of Amdo region of Tibet. Thanks to his grandma who was his first music teacher, Sherten has developed a strong love for his traditional culture. He debuted on stage at the age of 6, and began his professional music career at the age of 12. In 2002 he released his first solo album titled "Promise".
