Originally uniting in 2002, York natives Shattered Beneath the Shade have been developing sonically since high school. Fronted by Tara Seaks (pillbelly) and supported by Ryan Smith (Bass) Caleb Banas (lead guitar, pillbelly and Lux Bridge) and Max Melton (Drums, formerly of Ninetail), Shattered Beneath the Shade finds a way to infuse hardcore music with ambient melodies, shifting in and out of progressive rock, alternative, and emotional hardcore genres.
