About Shanna Kiel
Shanna Kiel, part riot-girl punk and part rock goddess. Hailing from the Midwest, St. Louis to be exact, and out of the burgeoning rock scene of the Midwest early rock scene centered on Chicago favorites, Local H. Kiel released a solo record entitled “Orphan” in 2006 on Thick Records to great reviews comparing it to the genius of Courtney Love and Hole. Kiel currently fronts the band Black Fur out of LA with Stephanie Sandman on bass, a past band mate in the short-lived punk-rock band, Sibylline (also from LA).
