About Shangy
The DJ of Shangri-La - or, as his closest friends call him, Shangy - took his name from a song by his favorite band, Clinic, and currently lives in Florida. However, he originates from a planet many galaxies away. He first visted Earth in the early 1990s with his mother (a scientest from his home planet sent to further research the beings of Earth), where he was introduced to Earth music at a very young age. The first Earth song he remembers hearing was "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus
