Established in 1952, Shanghai Traditional Instrument Orchestra, is one of the oldest organized ethnic orchestras in China. The orchestra consists of over 80 outstanding professional performers, including musical directors, soloists, and vocalists. Some of the reputable members include Yude Sun, Chunling Lu, Ziqian Zhang, Zuying Xiang, Weifeng Ming, Baiyong Xiao, Sunfa Yu, Changyuan Wang, Liangxing Tang and Yi Gong.
