Shan Lee Cook is probably better known as "Shanny Boy". His sound is inspired mostly by 60s rock and 90s alternative and Brit-Pop bands. His writing style is based mostly in metaphors and analogies, believing straight-forward message songs come off as being too "preachy." His father bought him his first guitar for Christmas when he was barely old enough to walk. He joined his first guitar band at 14 and a year later wrote the first version of 'Revelation
