About Shag
There are at least three artists / acts called Shag. 1. Shag is a young hip-hop producer from Ft. Worth, Texas. His production is mainly sample-based, though he has been known to make sample-free music as well. As of May, 2012, he has released 19 beat tapes. His newest release, Revolution, was released through Cult Classic Records on May 20. 2. Shag was one of many aliases of British pop producer and songwriter, Jonathan King. He called himself Shag for the 1972 bubblegum / novelty single, 'Loop Di Love'.
