Screamo. With lots of singing and screaming in long songs. Not unlike Five Stars For Failure. Good stuff. Originally a 4 piece hardcore band formed in Dayton, Ohio in 1999, Shadyside was made up of Guitarists and Vocalists Charles Heck and Wendell Hensley, Bassist Rob Will and Drummer Adrian Grant Over the first 3 years as a band SS played almost 200 shows and made a name for themselves as a energetic hardcore band with long songs that were not verse chorus, challenging audiences to listen, but still accessible for enjoyment.
