About Shadow Farm
Shadow Farm is a Leesburg, VA based trio composed of Kathy McMenamin, Matt McGarraghy, and Kevin Hassett. All of the band’s material is captured during free improvisational performances. Sargasso Sea was recorded during the month of January 2009 at Vinegar Hill Studios. Kevin, a bass player, is also responsible for recording these performances. Kathy plays the synthesizer, trying to work in a way to showcase each of the voices of the instrument that are used.
