About Shades of Dusk
Their music is described by its producer Yannick St-Amand (Despised Icon, Beneath the Massacre) as melodic death metal in the likes of older Dark Tranquility and In Flames. They silently released their first album "Caress the Despair" in early 2006 and later that year replaced their drummer with former Insan3 member Sebastien Pilon. In 2008, they released Quiescence to once again silent reviews(except for lone HardTimes.ca calling Shades of Dusk "what could very well become the Carcass of the new millennium"
