"Shades Of is Joshua Thomas, a musician from Northern Kentucky. Joshua has a laundry list of projects under his belt including When Our Hands Collided, You Smiled, The Ellipsis Ensemble and he also plays bass in Memories In Amber. Over the years, especially recently, his interests in writing music have dabbled more in post-rock/ ambient material, whereas in the early days of The Ellipsis Ensemble (Ellipsis Project then) the music sounded like the shittiest Mars Volta impression a person could barely muster.
