About Shabala
Shabala is a project created under the label BOOYA Music and produced by TAO Music Productions in Hamburg. Booya Music, based in Hamburg, was a record label that was active on the German music scene during the 1990s. Founded by experienced music producers and talent managers, Booya Music quickly became a hotspot for emerging artists and music productions. Shabala recorded only one self-titled full album in 1998, which was promoted as a fusion of "Africa's Voodoo rhythms combined with modern house & dance grooves from Europe and America.
