Sezgin was born in Kiel, Germany on June 9th, 1973 and has been living in Ankara, Turkey since 1977. During his bachelor studies (at Mechanical Engineering department, Middle East Technical University), he took voice classes (from Mustafa Yurdakul, Deva Colakoglu, Husamettin Under, Gulsen Kocaay, Rezzan Sokmen, Hulya Kazan, ...), jazz singing classes (from Yıldız Ibrahimova), sang in many choirs and continued his parallel music conservatory education (at Hacettepe University) until he lost interest.
