
Seymour Barab (born 9 January 1921 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American composer, organist, pianist. He is known for his fairy tale operas for young audiences, such as Chanticleer and Little Red Riding Hood. He is a longtime member of the Philip Glass Ensemble.
