Formed in 2002, the SexConsciousYoungModerns (or S.C.Y.M.) exploded onto the indie/shoegazer scene with their feedback-laced pop. After releasing their debut self-titled LP in the same year, they were met with international praise, and critical approval. In 2003, they received even more attention (and even some radio play!) after releasing an exclusive song on the Clairecords/Tonevendor release, Test Tones V2.1 But sadly, member changes, and a lack of local interest led to an extended hiatus that would have them struggling to come back.
