About Seti The First
Seti the First is a cello based instrumental project spearheaded by Kevin Murphy and Thomas Haugh, Irish musicians long associated with experimental music. Musically, compositions tend to surf the lower end of the string spectrum, with Double-Bass, Viola da Gamba and particularly the Cello featuring strongly. Cellist and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Murphy, was a central creative force in the critically acclaimed, Dublin based band Igloo, in the late 1990s.
