About Seascape Painters
Seascape Painters were an indie rock or shoegaze band from the town of Joure, The Netherlands. Active from 1995 to 2000, the band released two EPs during their existence: Seascape Painters (1996; sometimes referred to as 'South' after the title of the painting shown on the cover) and Polder (1998). Personnel: Ype Jager: guitar, vocals Anne-Kees Jeeninga: bass Romke Kleefstra: guitar, vocals Tony Landskroon: drums Additional musicians: Ferdinand Draaisma (organ) and Rachel Holwerda (cello).
