About Seamus Shannon
Seamus was born in Southern Ireland and spent many years as a travelling musician playing in pubs all over England where there were Irish communities. He played purely for the love of music, Much of which he wrote himself and also with another artist PJ Murrihy. Sometimes they played together whist touring, Staying with friends whilst they 'worked an area' They were very popular in the northwest of England and their sessions were always well attended .
