Screaming Target was formed as the first iteration of Big Audio Dynamite split in 1990. The former B.A.D. band members Don Letts, Greg Roberts, Leo Williams and Lynette Brathwaite formed Screaming Target and Mick Jones went on with Big Audio Dynamite II. The band only released one album and three singles before the band split in 1992, as Greg Roberts and Leo Williams left for Dreadzone.
