Scotty Meyer Band Members: Scotty Meyer, David Geschke, Greg Thiel Scotty Meyer is a native of Waupun, Wisconsin. He began his guitar career in 1992 playing bass for two years then switching to electric guitar. His early influences were Stevie Ray Vaughn, Johnny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Joe Bonamassa. He started his own Scotty Meyer Band in 1998 originally just blues then it evolved into classic rock, pop, and country.
