About schools
A three-piece rock outfit from South Africa, Schools was formed in 2014 in the heart of Woodstock, known to many as Cape Town’s burgeoning artistic hub. Schools features Lindy-Lee Prince on vocals, Francois Louw on guitar and Sakkie van Zyl on drums. Long-time friends and musicians, Francois and Sakkie decided to join forces and held auditions for a new project that stood apart from all the masculine voices in rock music today. Amidst a long queue of eager Enya’s, Lindy emerged with her uniquely warm, yet bluesy vocal tones.
