About Scatteredtrees
Scatteredtrees began in September of 2003, when Nathan Eiesland (vocals and guitar) moved to Illinois from Minnesota and endeavored to write one song a month — no more, no less. He named each song for the month it was written: "February", "March", "April", et cetera. Nathan returned to Minnesota in June and recorded the album Hollohills in Minneapolis. When he moved back to Illinois the subsequent fall, he began writing a follow-up. Soon he had enough material, but wanted his next effort to include a permanent band.
