About Scathanna
Scáthanna is 2 piece gaelic folk project from the Irish county Down. It features classic Irish trad instruments like bodhrán and whistles, but the main themes are based on acoustic guitars. The first demo “Riders of the Sidhe” was released in 2007 when Scáthanna was origionally a solo project by frontman Mark McCormick (Marcus). A new song was put online in 2010 called "Passion Earth". This is the latest material from Scáthanna and features the first ever vocals on a Scáthanna track from Aundria Hanna.
