The Mixed Choir ANIMA (Saulkrasti, Latvia) - since year 2001 the Mixed Choir ANIMA is living it’s active life in city Saulkrasti, located by the Baltic Sea. Several times per week ~ 36 people at different ages meet with a common aim – to sing, to create, to share, to perform. For most of the singers ANIMA has become something more than just a choir and it is often called also as a second family. In 2001 Mixed Choir ANIMA was founded by conductor Arturs Ancans but since 2007 Laura Leontjeva has taken over the lead.
