
About Satsuki Shibano
Satsuki Shibano is a Japanese pianist and renowned interpreter of Erik Satie. Her first album release came in 1984; 'Wave Notation 3: Erik Satie (France 1866-1925)', on Satoshi Ashikawa’s Sound Process record label, was a complete collection of new Satie interpretations, not just a representation of the classical canon, but also close to the world of environmental music, new age theories and interior sound design.
