Multiple artists with the name Sar exist. 1) "Sår" (Sar) is a solo project in Depressive Suicidal Black Metal (DSBM) genre which started in 2008 by its only member "Don Andolini" in the north of Iran. The debut album as a demo was released in 2009 naming "The War Manifesto". The band's music is inspired by some DSBMs like Sortsind, Silencer, Cry of Silence, Riviere Du Nord, Bleak and some others in this style; and the word "Sår" has been taken from one of the Sortsind's song titles with the same name
